MASONRY APPLICATIONS WE'RE EXPERTS IN
WHAT WILL YOUR NEXT PROJECT INCLUDE?
Brick Masonry-Using bricks for your masonry work is a highly durable form of building and construction. Brick masonry is built by mixing mortar and layering the bricks in a consistent and patterned manner. It's layered in a way that's systematic, on purpose, allowing for large loads of solid mass to be exerted on the structure once construction is complete. Many types of bricks and mortar can be used, allowing you to customize your project any way you'd like!
The bricks used in masonry projects are created to be porous by design. This is so the material of the bricks adhere substantially to the mortar it's layered upon. By placing bricks in a systematic pattern with the mortar layered as joints between them, allows for the durability of structure and performance for years to come. Stone Masonry-Stone is another material for masonry work. Stone specifically, is incredibly durable, very strong and due to the nature of the material holds up well against the elements. It's recommended for the structures to last over time, as it doesn't weather and break down like brick structures can.
The natural look of stone is wonderful for aesthetics. It's rustic look reflects nature, and it's easy to find the stone you like in an array of colors, shapes, sizes and textures. From a design perspective, there is so much that you can do to implement stone in your masonry project. As an added bonus, masonry projects that use stone are typically low maintenance, and require little upkeep and few repairs, due to the nature of the material and immense durability. Concrete Block Masonry-Concrete is a formidable material for masonry. Typically used to prep foundations, for grounding and building structures. It's also used to give an industrial space a bare bones look, due to how cost effective and simple its aesthetics are. Naturally, and like brick, the concrete material is resistant against fire, mold as pests. Concrete blocks also act as a very cost effective temperature control within a warmer climate, allowing you to easily keep cool in the summer. In addition to temperature control, concrete is a wonderful property for insulating against moisture and sound. Typically, you'd like to find concrete blocks locally as it's a very affordable material, however it's fairly expensive to transport, due to the weight of the material. Another positive to using concrete in your masonry project is that the material is manufactured in a vast amount of colors, sizes and distinct finishes, making customization a simple process.
